ALIBI TO BRING PROFESSIONAL, HOLLYWOOD-LEVEL MUSIC LICENSING TO INDEPENDENT VIDEO CREATORS WITH NEW SUBSCRIPTION PLANS

Indie and Small Business Subscriptions in Royalty-Free Monthly and Annual Options with Allowlisting Included

LOS ANGELES – March 31, 2021 – ALIBI Music is giving independent content creators the ability to license the same professional music and sound effects used by Hollywood. The leading music library for the film, television, streaming, advertising and video game industries is unveiling two new subscription tiers -- Indie and Small Business – for intuitive, pain-free music licensing.

With monthly and annual plan options, music licensing can be done online and royalty-free for the subscriber, as master recording and composition copyrights are assumed by platforms like YouTube [Learn more about royalties

ALIBI’s fee not only clears the usage, but also includes YouTube channel allowlisting, formerly called “whitelisting.” Additionally, 50 percent of the license fee goes to the original composer, while the remainder is split with the publisher, ensuring that hardworking composers and artists – just like other content creators – are compensated fairly.

Under ALIBI’s new subscription plans, independent video creators and small businesses can search, browse and license more than 250,000 unique audio files produced exclusively for the ALIBI music library by a talented, global array of professional artists. The two new subscription tiers include:

  • Indie Subscription ($19/month or $179/year) – Unlimited usage of the ALIBI Music catalogs for monetizing the subscriber’s content.
  • Small Business ($49/month or $399/year) – Unlimited usage of the ALIBI Music catalogs for monetizing subscriber and clients’ content, as well as other professional uses. Total yearly gross revenue for the subscriber, as well as the clients the work is being done for, must be below $10M.
