Southern Rock
What a fun retro album that bring us back to the days of keggers in the woods with Lynyrd Skynyrd blasting out of someone's Camaro. While that may not be everyone experience here at ALIBI, it certainly was this Texas ex-pat's high school life. Composer Carl Moniz' jams out blues and rock riffs w/ electric slide lead guitar to give it that distinctive southern rock sound. The album fits right there next to Skynyrd and the Allman Brothers, and while it definitely reminds you of the 70s rock era, the energetic pace and spirited attitude will work for lots of modern day advertising. Location-based shows like Southern Charm, King Of The Hill and Justified are natural places to land with this music, as are sports promos for any of the five hundred bajillion millio Also a great album for underscores!
