A huge congrats to ALIBI’s very own Jonathan Haskell, who has been appointed to the Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP)

. Haskell will complete the final year of outgoing LA Board member Cassie Lord’s two-year term, and will be up for a full term during the next AIMP election, which takes place in November 2022.

“I am ecstatic that Jonathan Haskell will be joining our Board at the AIMP LA Chapter. He is an amazing creative and music publishing professional, and will be a welcome addition to our team,” said AIMP Los Angeles Chapter Board President Teri Nelson Carpenter. “He has served on the Bylaws Committee as our member at large before joining our board, and we are all looking forward to working with him, his ideas, and his unique perspective more in this coming term.”

“As a long-time AIMP member, I had the pleasure of working alongside AIMP’s founder, Michael H. Goldsen, at Criterion Music for many years. I was also introduced to ALIBI Music at an AIMP luncheon, so this organization has played a significant role in my career,” Haskell added. “I am truly honored and can’t wait to join Teri in contributing to AIMP’s future as part of the LA Chapter Board of Directors.”
